We are an experienced design team.
Caren Easterling Design is a small firm located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country just outside of San Antonio. With a focus on customer service and environmental design, we have broad and experienced resources to design your retail experience or residential dreams.
We can design your overall environment or work with your preferred vendors and contractors to create the project that meets or exceeds your expectactions.
Caren is a registered architect with over 30 years experience in commercial retail, food retail and residential design and construction. She has led many design and construction teams to create inviting, innovative and award-winning architecture and environments, while maximizing sustainability goals, user experience, and functionality. Her residential expertise includes new and extensively remodeled homes ranging from vintage 1940’s to conventional built and custom heavy timber structures.
Caren was awarded the prestigious title of Texas A&M University College of Architecture Outstanding Alumni in 2018. She is a distinguished member of the Texas A&M College of Architecture Development Advisory Council. Caren has been recognized by industry executives and peers for outstanding performance in people development, collaboration, and community service. She enjoys sharing her experience with design students through guest lectures, presentation, competitions and mentoring.
Caren has volunteered her time, expertise, and donations to revitalizing local communities through her direct participation in building restoration, US Veteran and family support, local blood banks and multiple venues for animal advocacy including volunteering at a local horse refuge.
